Do Kegels Make You Tighter?

In this post, we would like to discuss on how you can effectively use Kegels to reverse a loose vagina. You have no doubt heard that doing Kegel exercises is your ticket to a tighter vagina. But do Kegels make your vagina tighter? How can you use them to tighten your vagina? And if you are doing these exercises to tighten the vagina, how do you know you are doing them right? All this will be answered in this article.

What is Kegels?
Kegel Exercises is a popular workout when it comes to the natural ways of tightening a vagina. They are performed by squeezing the internal pelvic muscles. The aim is to increase the firmness and strength of various pelvic floor muscles.

The pelvic floor muscles, which support the uterus, rectum, bladder, small intestine and the urethra, were first described by Dr. Arnold Kegel in 1948. Dr. Kegel was a gynecologist who spent his entire career studying about genital health. He invented these exercises as a remedy for pelvic floor muscles as non-surgical treatment for genital relaxation

Can Kegels make you tighter?
Kegel exercises rhythmically clenches and unclenches the pelvic floor muscles, which support pelvic organs and control urine flow. Pelvic floor muscles are responsible for the contractions that you feel when having sexual intercourse. Though Kegels don’t actually make your vagina tighter, they strengthen and tone your pelvic floor muscles, boosting your arousal. They also cause a tighter grip during sexual intercourse and more intense contractions during orgasm.

How to Do Kegels
Most women have never done Kegel exercises because maybe because they have never heard about them or don’t know how to do them. But these exercises are pretty easy to do, once you understand how to do them. We have explained the steps involved right from preparation, doing them up to getting results.

Before you do these exercises, it is important to find your pelvic muscles. The most common way to find them is to try to stop the flow of your urine mid-steam. Let those muscles go and resume urination and you will have a better sense of where those Kegels are.

If you still experiencing troubles finding your muscles, place a clean finger into your vagina and try to squeeze your muscles. If you do this successfully, you will feel your muscles tightening and the pelvic floor moving up.

You can also use a hand mirror to find your Kegels muscles. Just place it below your perineum. This is the skin that covers the part between your anus and vagina. Practice relaxing and squeezing what you think your Kegel muscles are. If you do this procedure in the right way, you will see these muscles contracting after each squeeze.

Doing Kegels for women
Squeeze your pelvic floor muscles for five seconds. You don’t want to overwork those muscles by squeezing them for too long. If you five minutes too long, you can even start with 2-3 seconds.

Release those muscles for ten seconds. The reason here is to give those muscles a break before you repeat the exercise. This break gives the muscles enough time to relax in order to avoid strain.

Repeat the exercise ten times. Just count one up to ten before you repeat the exercise. This si considered one set of Kegel exercise. Ideally, you need to start off by squeezing the pelvic floor muscles for five seconds, relax them for ten seconds, and repeat this ten times. In a day, you need to do this three top four times but not more.

How many Kegels to do a day
If you want to get long-term results, perform your Kegels at least 3-4 times a day. You can decide to make them part of your daily routine. You can aim to do them early in the morning, afternoon, and evening, instead of worrying about scheduling a time to do them.
